Ahead of the 9th Anniversary, OHM gives 100 food packages and targets the construction of toilets for villagers
Tangerang, 27 April 2022 – Omega Hotel Management (OHM), which is a hotel operator under the auspices of the Alfaland Group, shares blessings in the holy month of Ramadan 1443 H, by organizing a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity Indonesia. The CSR program which was held in Kedung Dalem Village, Mauk, Tangerang, is a series of OHM Road to 9th Anniversary events. 100 basic food packages including products from OHM (My Roti) business partners have been given to Suryadi, Head of Kedung Dalem Village, which will then be distributed to residents in need in the village.
In the CSR event held at the Kedung Dalem Village Hall, Mauk, Tangerang, Daniel Sulaiman, as OHM's Director of Operations explained, "OHM as a hotel operator, this year is entering its 9th year, which is a special number that we hope will also present various special activities for all hotel guests, business partners and the community around us. Praise be to God Almighty, in this holy month of Ramadan, OHM has provided 100 basic food packages for the residents of this village, as a form of hospitality which is expected not to stop here. At the moment of the 9th anniversary of OHM in September 2022, we are also targeting to build proper use toilets in this village“.
Daniel then explained that OHM's collaboration with partners from Habitat for Humanity Indonesia this year will provide its own privileges through the company's CSR activities that are different from previous years. Habitat for Humanity Indonesia data shows that there are still many residents in Kedung Dalem Village who need community assistance, including the need for sanitation with clean and usable toilets.
"OHM is engaged in the hotel industry, and always makes cleanliness the most important part of its services. Therefore, we feel moved to collaborate with Habitat for Humanity in helping to build proper and clean toilet facilities in the homes of residents who currently use latrines for open defecation and unhealthy daily sanitation activities,“ said Daniel.
